About us
M.I.B. SERVICES is a family run landscape maintenance business, established in July 2002 as a "one man band". Through hard work and quality service delivery the company has grown steadily over the last ten years and now employ's three full time members of staff and one part time. We aim to deliver a housing estate landscape, industrial grounds maintenance and private garden service that meets with your complete satisfaction.

From grass cutting, chemical weed control, lawn care, shrub & tree pruning to litter picking. We know how important it is to you that the service that we say we supply is delivered with the greatest of skill and expertise from management level right through to all operatives employed by us.
 
Large housing estates with lots of grass areas spread out across them are taken care of by M.I.B. Services. We specialize in working with Property Management Companies, Residents Associations, Housing Association, Landlords and industrial parks and factories, through to owners of large private dwellings and gardens.Steep embankment grass maintenance is no problem to M.I.B. Our specialties are in taking on large and challenging industrial sites and private housing estates that no other company of our size is capable of, or willing to take on, do the job to a high standard and be competitively priced for the the uniqueness of the housing estate or industrial site. 
We are of course, more than happy to take on the "normal landscaped" sites also.

We have an ongoing training and development program for all staff to update to the skills we need to help us achieve a consistent quality delivery service. Whilst nobody can be 100% guaranteed that problems will never be encountered, we hope to demonstrate that we have the ability and the will to work with our customers to assure you that, you are provided with the best quality and service at all times, and should a problem arise, then it will be dealt with immediately and rectified as soon as possible.

With this in mind we have adopted this voluntary Customer Charter and commit to delivering on our promise of a quality grounds and landscape maintenance service. You can be assured that we have the necessary gardening and landscape maintenance skills, qualifications and experience to meet your requirements.

Our voluntary Charter requires us to aspire to the following:

* Continued self assessment and ongoing training where practical. Maintaining proper records and accounts and staying up to date with current legislation, health and safety and delivering best practise at 
all times.

* Declare to any potential customer the length of time we have been trading and provide, if required, up to 3 customer references and allow inspection of at least one previous project.

* Put in place and maintain all the necessary insurance covers including public and employers liability. This voluntary Charter also requires that, in the unlikely event of any dispute involving price or workmanship M.I.B. Services shall agree to have their work inspected by any independent person or persons who are satisfactorily qualified in Landscaping or Horticulture relevant to the activity that has been carried out.

M.I.B. Services Terms and conditions  The client will be responsible for all payments to M.I.B. Services unless otherwise notified in writing prior to commencement. The client shall provide access to site during M.I.B. Services normal working hours and storage space for materials during the contract progress. Any addition and/or alterations to the schedule shall be properly treated as variations and subject to written instructions. M.I.B. Services is not able to accept responsibility for any damage to (or cost involved with) any underground hazards, obstructions or services not made known to us in writing or apparent on visual inspection. Stage payments of against works completed/materials on site to be made at weekly intervals. Final payment to be made following completion and payable within 30 days of our invoice.  Price to remain fixed until the end of contract. Acceptance before that date will ensure no increase in the cost of the works specified in the quotation. All, or any special conditions, of which M.I.B. Services has been informed are noted in the quotation. It is very important and the responsibility of the Client to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory Bylaws/Conditions/Permissions that may be involved. We accept no responsibility for works that have been carried out on land that is not under the ownership of the client and it is assumed that all planning laws or regulations have been applied before commencement of any works. We are not able to accept responsibility for the well being and maintenance of living plant material, including turf, following practical substantial completion unless a maintenance contract is in existence. If necessary we reserve the right to substitute any plant with another of equal value and growth/habitat/colour in accordance with the specification. After practical substantial completion, we are not able to accept responsibility for any damage through the elements, including drought, winds, rain and frost to any material(s) including plants. Upon practical substantial completion the responsibility for the care and watering of all plants, lawns, etc., is handed over to the client and will require regular attention until established. Severe weather conditions, including drought, may cause the delay of the start date of the contract. Delays caused by other companies on site may cause work to be rescheduled and charges may be made in certain circumstances. All materials on site remain the property of M.I.B. Services until payment is received in full. Maintenance is not included in the contract unless specified. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The Consumer has the right to cancel the contract if they so wish and that right can be exercised by delivering, or sending (including by electronic mail) a cancellation notice to the trader at any time within the period of seven days starting with the day of receipt of a notice in writing of the right to cancel the contract. Cancellation should be communicated in writing or by email to the person shown above. Cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or sent to us. In the case of an electronic communication, cancellation is deemed to be served from the day it is sent electronically. The bottom of this form may be used to exercise this right and can be Issued in person, scanned & emailed (in which case- if possible- you should obtain an electronic confirmation that it has been received and opened by us) or sent by post (in which case you should obtain a Certificate of Posting or Recorded Delivery slip. You are advised to take a copy of the cancellation notice before returning it to us.) Work begun prior to the expiry of the cancellation period: If you have agreed in writing that work will commence before the seven day cancellation period expires and you subsequently cancel in accordance with your rights, you are advised that reasonable payment may be due for any work carried out. You are asked to confirm in writing that work may commence before your cancellation period expires, this can be done be communicated in writing or by email to the person shown above. If you wish to cancel the contract you MUST DO SO IN WRITING and deliver personally or send (which you may do by electronic mail) this to the person named below.  You may use this form if you want to but you do not have to.
